Bengt Jörgen receives the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal

On Sunday, October 21, Artistic Director and CEO Bengt Jorgen received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal at the i-Canada Summit in Montreal.

'Bengt Jorgen has created Canada's most active ballet company, bringing professional-level dance to ordinary citizens in communities across the country,' stated John Reid, President of The Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance, 'As Canada's Local Ballet Company, Ballet Jorgen Canada is making ballet accessible. This is a significant contribution to Canada, and therefore is absolutely deserving of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal.'
