So much has happened so far, and so much is still to come! We had an adventurous first show in Duncan - the music stopped for a solid minute during the White Swan pas de deux, and all of us swans were left to work without it! Saniya and Daniel did a great job of covering it up and improvising. We got thunderous applause at the end.

From there we headed to Nelson, which is a fun little town with lots of shops and bakeries to explore. I acquired my first set of circular knitting needles there, and have since made one (1) whole sock! It fits, and doesn't have any unintentional button holes (which is definitely a plus). It's incredible what you can do with YouTube and a little bit of patience!

The stage in Nelson was the smallest we have performed on so far, and it took some re-working and a little bit of squeezing to get us all on stage. 14 girls in Russian tutus take up a lot of space!
Most recently we performed in Vernon, which is just south of an actual 'Swan Lake.' Since then we've ventured North 1365 km to Prince Rupert, where we have a show on February 6th.
I still haven't gotten over how beautiful the mountains are! The view driving north is incredible here, and the weather is surprisingly warm. I don't mind the rain. We saw 3 deer at the side of the road a few days ago, but I haven't had any wildlife sightings since.

If you're in Prince Rupert, I'll see you at the casino! (Not really... they probably won't let me in)
