Hello Ballet Jorgen friends!
It's 6:13 am and I've already waited in long lineups, been frisked, and had my food thrown out. Needless to say, I am one grumpy ballerina. Maybe not as grumpy as the woman who frisked me this morning though... I'm venturing out alone on this chilly Canadian morning. I'm flying to Vancouver, where Bengt will hopefully remember to pick me up. We are heading to Chemainus - one of my favourite stops from last year's Swan Lake tour.
My travel pillow just exploded on me. There are tiny white styrofoam balls EVERYWHERE. The kind man beside me helped me to stuff it into one of the gratis paper barf bags. I fear it is the end for little red. And my pain-free neck.

For those of you who don't already know, we are touring Romeo & Juliet this season. I'm debuting my role as Juliet's Nurse. Maybe the fat suit in my backpack set off the airport'ssuspicion that I was secretly some sort of drug mule or weapon-carrying criminal. I don't look like a criminal, do I?

And so begins the west coast tour!
Until next time,
